Dish Network Adding More HD Channels

This week Dish Network added 3 new High Definition local markets and added a new national HD channel to its dishHD lineup.

On Wednesday, Dish Network began offering local HD channels to satellite TV subscribers residing in Baltimore, MD, Columbia, SC, and Green Bay, WI. This brings Dish Network's total number to 46 local HD markets, which represents 60 percent of U.S. households.

Also on Wednesday, Dish Network added CNN HD to its national HD channel lineup. CNN HD broadcasts a mix of both Standard and High Def programs, and can be found on channels 200 and 9436.
